Roseanne Urbanc led the children this year in a new program about the birth of our Lord and Savior. The children had many lines to learn and many songs to sing. The house was packed with parents, grandparents, and so many who came from near and far! Our parish is blessed with 80 children so thank you to Roseanne and Kathy and all the CCD teachers who helped make this new program a success! 

Thank you to all who donated to this worthy cause.  With all the hurricanes down south, these buckets will surely be helpful!!  Great job SMOW!

What a wonderful fall day to have our annual parish picnic!  Lots and lots of people attended, we ate yummy burgers and hot dogs, and fun was had by all!  The cornhole tournament was a success - Winners 1st Place Tait and Tucker Sennett, 2nd Place Dan Bridson and Steve Janssen, 3rd Place Father Corey and Jacob Dye.  Next year we should make everyone pick new and different partners, haha!!

Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for hosting/organizing the Chiefs Game again this year!  All that attended had a great time (even though the Chiefs lost). We had VERY nice weather and the fireworks were beautiful!

Thank you to all who officiated, served and directed this lovely procession.  Thank you to the Arnett, Gilroy and Williams families who let us use their yards to set up altars.  Thank you to the choir who sang such beautiful hymns while we processed.  Thank you to all who joined us in this Corpus Christi celebration. Christ is EVERYWHERE!!!

Thank you to all those who helped celebrate Father Corey’s 10th anniversary as an ordained priest! What a great celebration of rolls, cake, breakfast casseroles and fruit.  He greatly appreciated all that attended, all who cooked and all who set-up and cleaned up. What a wonderful parish we have!!  We adore you Father Corey and are grateful that God blessed us with your presence here at St. Mary of the Woods. 

What a beautiful day for 1st Communicants, Angelyn Duckworth, James Peterson and Holden Rice.  Everyone was so excited to receive Jesus for the first time!  God Bless them.

Jean Coon, Annie Dallinger, Randy Ingle and Sebastian White entered into the Catholic Faith this year!  We are so incredibly happy to have them join our FAMILY!!!
